I Must Confess
I must confess today was a lazy day, I didn’t feel that great and the rain didn’t help matters.
I must confess there are dishes in my sink I will surely get to them before bed but the dishwasher has to be unloaded, so maybe it can go until the morning.
I must confess the kids had pop-tarts again for breakfast, chocolate too could explain the surge of energy coursing through their veins.
I must confess they watched the movie Home for the 12th day in a row at least 2 times a day, so a tantrum wouldn’t follow the repeated request.
I must confess there are 2 clean baskets of laundry waiting to be folded and still more to wash.
I must confess I washed a sippy cup in with a load of clothes. Does this count as washed. Maybe I’ll throw it in the sink just to be safe.
I must confess my patience was at a premium today and I will have to try harder tomorrow.
I must confess I took a 2 hour nap and still feel I need more because most nights I only get about 5 hours of sleep, because when the kids go to bed is when mommie can work the best.
I must confess even though I’ve done this parenting thing before with my oldest, this go around it’s hard to say the least. There is no buffer no other parent to lean on, no could you do the baths while I get dishes done.
I must confess in my tired state we ate $5 pizza from Little Ceasar’s but hey very little dishes!
I must confess the dog got yelled and put outside after eating the remains of the pizza in the box left on table when I went upstairs to get something for Alyse. He’s lucky that’s all that happened!
I must confess I let the kids go outside to play immediately regretting it since Dean instantly gravitated to the mud puddles!
I must confess he took a semi bath in the kichen sink after the mud play.
I must confess there are toys everywhere and I’m thinking there is where they’ll stay since the minute I touch a toy to pick it up is the minute the kiddos want to play with it.
I must confess I feel the same about the pillows on my couch everytime I fix them four little busy hands come behind me and rearrange them.
I must confess I need to clean out my fridge I’m not sure the last time I made stroganoff but found a container full.
I must confess I wanted a big family I should’ve been specific and required them to be housebroken.
I must confess I started a project in bathroom before Alyse’s birthday in October and it still needs to be finished!
I must confess I have 4 scratch pads with notes in all of them about everything, must organize those.
I must confess I need to schedule out my blogging calendar so there seems to be some ryme and reason to my madness.
I must confess I have so much to do but all I want to do is crawl back into bed and go to sleep! Thank God it’s almost 10pm so that’s just what I’m going to do!
